MacSource to open the first
Apple Center in the Czech Republic

Prague, Czech Republic, October 25, 2005 - MacSource, the leading Czech Apple dealer, will open the first Apple Center in the Czech Republic on October 31, 2005, at Zlaty Andel 344 in Prague - Smichov (near the Anděl underground station). The MacSource Apple Center will be the first authorized retail location offering the complete portfolio of Apple's products in the Czech market.
At the ceremony, the newest Apple products will be officially introduced to the Czech market. The winner of the first Czech Pop Idol competition, Aneta Langerová, will sign autographs and be present for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Gilles Mouchonnet, general manager for MDS East Europe Inc., the marketing company for Apple products in the Czech Republic and CEE region says: "The Apple Center will be our flagship store here. We are planning to see other Apple Centers open across the country. We need to provide companies and individuals with the opportunity to see, try, touch and get information about what Apple products and solutions stand for. I believe that Czech customers will appreciate this concept and the Center will be successful."
Tony Hasek, CEO of MacSource adds: "We're betting that Czech consumers are now looking for quality as the defining quality of their purchase. The Apple Center will help portray Apple's image and philosophy...stylish and design oriented while being easy-going and functional. Apple Centers have already opened in other important cities in Europe. "The first Apple Center in Prague will be operated by our long standing partner MacSource. MacSource is dedicated, enthusiastic and very experienced with Apple. We are both very thrilled with this new cooperation", adds Mr. Mouchonnet.
